We had a couple of really nice surprises this Lazy Thursday. The first was that Shane joined us for dinner at Espresso 77, for the first time ever!
The other surprise was that our good friend Sean bought us a really generous gift certificate, which should cover our Lazy Thursday dinners for many weeks to come, even if Shane decides to join us again.

By the way, my daughter is intensely interested in your due date, and is convinced you might have twins (although I have told her otherwise). She would also like to have a playdate with Rose, so we’ll have to coordinate sometime soon!
Tell her we’re looking at December 8th, but sooner would be fine too. Just one baby in there, for sure, but Rose was also wondering if at some point he would turn into twins. Yes to a playdate soon. They can discuss amongst themselves.
