What can I say? There was pasta, salad, fresh-caught bluefish, home-grown asparagus, flowers, martinis, a birthday and breakfast-painting. Oh, and hard work and togetherness. Welcome summer 2014.
1. I love the picture of rose and the Lilacs.
2. Why was the salad so salty? was it TOO salty? that would be crazy if something was too salty for you.
3. Andre’s request for tots and freis is killing me! tell him i went to a restaruant the other day that served “sloppy tots” which was a boat of tater tots topped with chili and cheddar cheese and scallions.
4. Who puts cherry tomoatoes in martini’s? and was it any good that way? i am all for snacks in my drink, especially salad snacks…
5. Happy Birthday Andre!
6. When do we see pics of the house swap?

pardon all the typos. i am at work and not paying attention to my sloppy grammar and typo typing.

The salad was extremely salty. We think it’s because my mom used “big salt” meaning those really big grains of sea salt. It was almost indulgently salty and I’m pretty sure Rita, Anna, Jenya and I were all fine with it. The others, not so much.
I missed the martini making and only got to see the aftermath, so I’m not sure what the tomato story is.
